  • Over 25 years of experience as an epee fencing coach
  • Introduced to fencing in 1989; joined the Jiangsu Provincial Team (Nanjing Institute of Sports) in 1993
  • Achieved second place in the women’s epee team at the 1995 Asian Invitational Championships (Thailand Station)
  • Secured third place in China’s highest level competition in 1996, earning valuable points throughout the year
  • Represented China in the European Tour in 1997, showcasing exceptional skill and commitment
  • Led the Jiangsu team to victory, securing the women’s epee team championship at the Eighth National Games in 1997 (Shanghai Station)
  • Embarked on a coaching career in 1999, assuming the role of Epee Head Coach at Xuzhou Sports School in 2001
  • Dedicated to discovering and nurturing fencing enthusiasts, guiding them to professional teams and esteemed universities such as Jiangsu Team, Bayi Army, Sun Yat-sen University, Beijing Sports University, and the University of San Diego
  • Recognized for excellence with the title of Outstanding Referee from the Chinese University Student Association in 2015
  • Attained the senior coaching title in 2015, showcasing expertise and leadership in the field
  • Notable achievements include coaching LI ZHENG to the eighth place in the men’s epee at the 2015 World Championships and securing the first place in the men’s epee at the World Military Games
  • In 2016, guided DU JIA MING to the second place in the 20th Asian Youth Championship, highlighting a commitment to developing top-tier talent
  • Immigrated to the United States in 2018
  • Recognized for coaching LEFU CHEN, who achieved the third place in the summer NAC Women’s Epee DVI-1 in 2023, showcasing ongoing success in developing skilled fencers
